Crossing the Bridge to November (prompt #2)
Bridge C, seemed interesting to me. Here's what I came up with from the SPP Writing prompt #2.
Title: Crossing the Bridge to November
Written 1/31/2012
No more lush my verdant fields
Gone awry summer‘s scent sweet
For I contemplate the bridge to November
A reality I cautiously greet
One step leads to another I'm told
So I walk into more stormy days
And leave behind memories and visions
Now viewed through my tinted gaze
Tumultuous skies scream of torment
Without a near end in sight
Seeing the storm's threat straight ahead
Turning days into dark endless nights
Turnabouts fair play to the wind
Moving forward I pray I'll remember
That seasons of life must be lived
As I'm crossing the bridge to November
